The Muskoka Fall Adventure – Vivid Hues and Tranquil Views

Welcome to an unforgettable Muskoka Fall Colors outing! In just two days, we’ll take you on a scenic journey from Brampton to the heart of Muskoka, where nature’s vibrant autumn palette awaits.

We kick off our adventure with a picturesque drive from Brampton to Huntsville in Muskoka, just a 2.5-hour ride away. Our first stop is the breathtaking Lion’s Lookout, offering stunning views of Muskoka River and Fairy Lake. The hike from Heritage Place Railway Station might be steep and strenuous, but the view is worth every step.

Next, we head to the Huntsville Downtown Marina. Here, you can rent a paddleboat and explore the Muskoka River as it gracefully winds through the charming downtown area.

As the sun sets, we explore the unique Hunter’s Bay Trail. This 3.6-kilometer urban trail offers riverside views, orchards, wooded trails, beaches, and a unique 500 meters floating boardwalk over Hunter’s Bay’s waters.

Our adventure continues the next day with a visit to the Heritage Place Train Station, where you can embark on a short yet scenic train journey along the Muskoka River to Fairy Lake Station. A 10-minute halt here allows you to take in the mesmerizing surroundings.

We end our two-day expedition with a refreshing hike to Stubbs Falls in the Arrowhead Provincial Park. This relatively easy 2.6-kilometer loop trail showcases the incredible natural beauty of Muskoka, taking about 42 minutes to complete.

Muskoka in the fall is a breathtaking spectacle you won’t want to miss !!!
